Arby’s is going to sell venison sandwiches in select restaurants on October 21st. The sandwiches are being offered to celebrate the beginning of hunting season

Pizza Hut just created some new PARKAS that are made out of the same materials they use to make their pizza delivery bags . . . so it should be GREAT for keeping warm.  You can win one by ordering a pizza or tweeting a flame and pizza emoji at them through the end of the month.

A family in Utah went to a corn maze Monday night, and somehow left without their three-year-old son . . . and didn’t realize he was missing until the next morning.  The kid was found wandering in the maze that night, and had to be taken to Child and Family Services until the parents called 911 the next day.  (And when the mom showed up to get him, she had ten OTHER kids with her.  Sergeant Joe Monson of the West Jordan Police Department is the guy talking in this clip.  He says there were multiple families and a lot of kids in the house.

A woman in North Carolina was bitten recently by a copperhead snake, and she went to an urgent care clinic.  But they didn’t handle snake bites, so they told her to post a picture of the snake on Facebook, and someone would tell her if it was poisonous.  (Luckily people wrote back immediately and told her, and she went to the ER in time to get it treated.  But she was there for 12 hours, and her foot swelled up to three times normal size.

A company in Spain just invented DIET AVOCADOS.  They have 30% of the fat . . . although avocados have the “good fat,” so that might not be a good change.  There’s no word on when we might potentially see them on sale over here.

Officials at Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio wanted everyone to be satisfied.  So the board members voted to change the school’s name to “Legacy of Educational Excellence High School.”  That way the initials are still L.E.E.

Porsche is about to launch a new program called Porsche Passport, where you pay $2,000-a-month . . . and that gets you unlimited Porsches on demand.  Or you can pay $3,000 and have even more models to choose from. You just use an app to pick the Porsche you want in the moment, and someone will drive it to wherever you are.  And you can drive it for as long or as short as you want, kind of like how the old Netflix DVD delivery worked. Your membership comes with unlimited mileage and, frankly, it doesn’t sound like THAT bad of a deal . . . considering that a lot of Porches could run you that price per month anyway. For now, they’re only going to be offering the service in Atlanta.  But if it’s successful, it could definitely expand to other places soon.

The Boy Scouts have decided to start admitting GIRLS next year, and letting them work all the way up to Eagle Scout.  The Girl Scouts aren’t happy about that, and say they’re still the best program for developing female leaders.

New Mexico State University is letting students pay off old parking tickets this month, by donating jars of peanut butter to a food pantry.

Just in time for colder weather, Pizza Hut is getting into the outerwear business. In a tongue-in-cheek viral video, the pizza giant has introduced the Pizza Parka — outwear made from the same material as their pizza delivery pouches.

Halloween Express says they recently sold out of all of their Pennywise clown costumes because of the popularity of Stephen King’s clown movie IT. Other Halloween costume shops are running low on Pennywise costumes
