The raccoon that captivated the nation by scaling a building in Minnesota made it to the top early yesterday morning.  They used a cage to catch it, gave it a few cans of cat food, and released it back into the wild.

McDonald’s is taking on Starbucks with two new coffee drinks. They debuted their new Cold Brew Frozen Coffee and Cold Brew Frappe on Wednesday. The drinks cost $2 apiece.

A new Dippin’ Dots cereal just came out.  It’s basically just a Corn Pops type cereal, but with sweet clusters of special Dippin’ Dots mixed in.  Right now it’s only available at Walmart.

A new WINE-FLAVORED WATER is going on sale in July.  It’s like bottled water, but they use wine grapes to infuse a little bit of flavor into it . . . and it’s non-alcoholic.  So yeah, it’s just like super watered down wine that won’t get you drunk. 22% of people won’t buy Father’s Day gifts for their dad until Father’s Day, according to a new survey.  And he’ll probably be disappointed . . . because 93% of dads say they care about a Father’s Day gift more than they let on.

The people at Green Giant asked almost 4,000 Americans to pick their favorite vegetable.  And here’s what they found . . .

  1. Broccoli is the most popular vegetable in the country.  It came out on top in 24 of the 50 states.
  2. Corn is the second-most popular . . . it came in first in nine states.
  3. Potatoes won six states . . . carrots won five states . . . string beans won three states . . . and cucumbers won two.
  4. Peas won one state . . . Idaho.  That’s right, they didn’t go with potatoes.
  5. And that means onions, green peppers, celery, spinach, and kale are not the most popular ANYWHERE.  In Minnesota it’s Broccoli and in Wisconsin it’s Corn.

Officials in Wales recently hung up a huge sign declaring their town is now “plastic free.”  But ironically, the sign itself is plastic.

Plastic surgery for men has gotten a lot more popular, according to a new report.  “Torso tucks” that help accentuate your abs have surged.

A New York Italian restaurant called Fortina is now serving food without dishes. Chef Christian Petroni tells the paper that his servers splash the food directly on a specially-sealed wood table. “When was the last time you ate something right off the table? There’s something about sharing a meal with people you care about — it sticks with you.”

Anthony Bourdain was cremated in France. His ashes are being flown back to the United States on Friday

Disney has released the first teaser trailer for Tim Burton’s live-action remake of Dumbo. The reimagined story will follow a former circus star, played by Colin Farrell, who returns to the big tent after coming home from war. He finds work with a struggling circus and is put in charge of a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughing stock of the show. The movie comes out March 29. • VIDEO
