According to new research, people who sleep on the left side of the bed tend to like beer more than wine . . . listen to oldies music . . . prefer dramatic movies . . . and lean left politically. Meanwhile, right-side sleepers are more likely to be wine drinkers . . . listen to rock music . . . prefer action movies . . . and lean right politically. 

There’s a new “healthy” beer called 26.2 Brew . . . as in the number of miles in a marathon.  It’s described as “a crisp, light ale developed for runners, by runners.”  It’s lower in alcohol and carbs, and has healthy ingredients like Himalayan sea salt and coriander.

We’ve got the results of a survey here that found the most popular beer in every state. The survey asked men in every state to pick their favorite beer, and the results for most states are what you’d expect. There’s a lot of Budweiser, Coors Light, Corona, Pabst Blue Ribbon. Wisconsin & Minnesota both had Coors Light as men’s favorite. And then there’s Idaho, where the “beer” that got the most votes was . . . Mike’s Hard Lemonade.  23% of guys in Idaho said it’s their favorite beer, which was a higher percentage than anything else.

A marine salvager, named Nicholas Sloane, is planning to steal an iceberg from Antarctica. He wants to tow the 125-million ton iceberg to South Africa so he can melt it down and provide drinking water to locals. Cape Town has water restrictions because of a 2017 drought. Sloane says the iceberg would supply Cape Town with 20% of its water needs for a year. The mission is expected to take six months.
