A guy in Pennsylvania recently called the local news with a theory about why the area has had more tornadoes than usual.  He thinks they’re caused by some newly installed traffic circles.

About 40 high school students in Oregon pulled a senior prank on Friday, where they filled the hallways with desks and replaced the erasers in classrooms with hot dogs.  The principal said he’d fine each student $47, and they couldn’t walk at graduation.  But the parents of the kids got angry that their kids were being punished, so the principal backtracked.

There’s a big debate going viral right now over whether the person stuck in the middle seat DESERVES both of the armrests. Some people are saying YES, the middle seat deserves both armrests . . . that’s just standard plane etiquette. But others are saying no . . . the armrest goes to whoever gets their arm there first, that’s just how planes work. And according to a Twitter poll with more than 100,000 votes, the slight majority says NO, the middle seat isn’t entitled to both armrests. 

The University of Wisconsin–Madison alumnus André De Shields won best featured actor in a musical for his role as Hermes in “Hadestown” during the 73rd annual Tony Awards last night. Andre began his theatrical career at UW–Madison, appearing in the 1968 nude production of Peter Pan.
