TIM ALLEN and RICHARD KARN’s new competition show “Assembly Required” is kind of like a real-life “Tool Time”, according to Tim. They are very similar to the characters they played in that show. “Assembly Required” features builders competing with each other from their own home shops, with Tim and Richard visiting them virtually to, quote, “deliver colorful commentary and oversee their work.”The show debuts this coming Tuesday at 9PM on The History Channel.
ZOOEY DESCHANEL and MICHAEL BOLTON will host “The Celebrity Dating Game” for ABC. Described as “a wry wink at modern dating,” the non-famous suitors have the opportunity to guess the secret identity of the celebrity contestant based on clues, questions and parody performances by Bolton. The Celebrity Dating Game joins a sprawling roster of rebooted game shows on ABC that includes Celebrity Family Feud, To Tell the Truth, The $100,000 Pyramid, Match Game, Press Your Luck, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Supermarket Sweep and, most recently, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.
KACEY MUSGRAVES accepted a “weirdest pic on your phone right now” challenge . . . by posting a photo of her gall bladder. And she captioned it, “Okay, since no one asked. My [pic] is of the [crappy] gallbladder that had to be taken out of my body exactly a year ago. Isn’t science neat?”
