Starbucks has added French Toast Frappuccino to their secret menu. The vanilla Frappuccino is infused with sweet cream, cinnamon dolce syrup, hazelnut syrup, cinnamon dolce topping and whipped cream 

Little Caesars has brought back their pretzel crust pizza. It is available now for a limited time and was first introduced in 2014.

Taco Bell is joining the fried chicken sandwich wars.  They just introduced a new fried chicken taco . . . it’s a fried chicken breast, wrapped in a puffy piece of flatbread, with a chipotle sauce.  For now, they’re only available in Nashville and Charlotte . . . but they’re going to roll out nationwide later this year.

The latest word is . . . cheese is NOT BAD for you after all. There have been several recent major studies in the past decade that found cheese got an unfair reputation because of the misguided anti-fat guidelines in the ’80s and ’90s. Those studies found that what REALLY makes you gain weight are things like refined grains, potatoes, and processed meats . . . cheese didn’t cause people to gain weight, and sometimes it even helped people LOSE fat.

Scotland always gives ridiculous names to its snow plows, and this year’s group includes Sweet Child O’ Brine, Sled Zeppelin, and Mary Queen of Salt.

NASA released the first true audio recorded on the surface of Mars.  If you were expecting something amazing, you might be underwhelmed.  Basically, it sounds pretty windy up there.

A new survey asked people if they could choose one age to be the rest of their lives, what would they choose?  And the most common answer was . . . 36.  The survey also found more than half of people say they look around five years younger than they are and feel six years younger.

According to a new study, 80% of people under 30 say it wouldn’t just be hard to drive without music . . . it would be, quote, “IMPOSSIBLE.”  The study also found two-thirds go for, quote, “fast-paced” music on the way to work.

A 24-year-old woman in Belleville, Ontario, Canada set the world record for finishing a 40,320-piece puzzle of Disney characters in 150 hours.  The old record was 423 hours.

The Scripps National Spelling Bee is going to return with a virtual format this year although the finals will take place in person at Walt Disney World in Florida 

In the snack food world, cranking up the crisp can lead to a bigger hit, and there are entire research teams working to ensure that the texture of food is specifically calibrated to maximize crunch. The use of the word “crispy” and “crispiness” in Yelp reviews of restaurants has increased over the past decade by 20 percent, and an analysis of 7,000 menus found “crispy” is the single most common adjective used to describe texture.… When food researchers measure how much people enjoy snack foods as a whole, the crunchier the rating the higher the evaluation.
